I'm down to two tires...

I'm gonna need some new skids for my '07 3.0i (225/45ZR-17).
So I'm down to these two...

General G-MAX AS-03

...Or...

Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105

Any experiences with either or both would be appreciated!

P.S. Cost seems to be about the same for each.

WHOOPS! I just realized that I posted this in the wrong section. Any of you admins please feel free to move this to the tire and wheel section. Thanks!

I had V4s on the E46. They were okay, but were nothing to be impressed about...mediocre on every surface.

Assuming you don't need all-seasons...step up to V12s or something similar.

This.

The V12 is only like $4 more and a better tire. Wont last as long as the V4 but it's a much better tire. Between the V4 and the General I would go with the V4.

Yeah, I definitely want something that's gonna last a while. If I were racing my car on a regular basis, I'd probably opt for softer more performance oriented tires. But I have yet to do anything that requires top notch performance. And I'd rather not have to replace them all the time.

Anyway, thanks for your inputs. I'm gonna take both into consideration.

FYI - The Hankook V12s currently qualify for a $80 rebate at Tire Rack so they'd be $360! There are also other good specials there.
