Modified Hamann Front
My other "fangs" thread is such an evolution of thought that I wanted to start a new thread with the front bumper I went with. I really like it. Haters are welcome since I love it and don't mind that others have their own opinion that might differ. I really like this look. I'll eventually post the finished product with better lighting in a month.

i know you said it, but i need to see it in better light and with the grilles installed. first thoughts though: i like it.
it is "over the top" and may need other bits around the car to balance that feel out. the sheer size of the front definitely overpowers the 18" csl's now; you might consider a 19" that is pretty aggressive and has a slightly avant garde look to them. maybe some stripes/decals/color somewhere.... IDK... bright red mirrors... something... i like that you're being adventuresome about it though. certainly interested to see where this goes! |

that bumper makes them look tiny! don't get me wrong; i do like the cover. it's just visually very... heavy.

The OEM grills actually tame it down. I like it even more now. There is a grill for the lower portion but that won't go on till later.

Very nice! I've been eyeing this front bumper for awhile, but not ready to drop the $$$ to buy it, yet. How much and where did you get it from?
Fiberglass or plastic?

I like it, always liked the Hamann bumpers on the e46 m3, not so much on the m6. But I agree with v3.2... the aggressive front almost needs other complimenting parts, skirts, rear, etc to balance it out - or maybe just a wider stance. 12mm spacers for the rear perhaps?

It might soften the overall styling somewhat and blend even more. Just spray paint some paper templates and tape them in to "see" what it would look like. |

Maybe not black out the entire panel the holes are in but just the inside of the holes? I really like and want this bumper! It is a throw back into the 3 and 5 series bumper looks but is still Z...

I know what u mean. I usually don't like changing things up too much from stock but I love every other part of the Z4MC exterior except the front bumper lid. The front bumper just looks odd to me. I tried the Mstache but the clearance was too low. This new bumper at least retains a BMW-esque flavor with the CSL influence as you mentioned. I think most people that see it in person will like it. It doesn't overpower the look as may be hinted at in the above pics. I think it's balanced quite well.
