is their any japaneese lightweight 18 that offers 18 - 8.5 + 32 offset and 18 - 9.5 + 25 offset???? These are what i consider perfect offsets for the z4m, if i can find these sizes with a wheel thats under 18lbs we have a winner, now is their such wheel?? i already have 12mm spacers being used on the front of my CSL rims, plus i have 75mm studs at the ready.... im just searching for the perfect rim, i havent come across it yet......... i do however love the japaneese style and philosophy when it comes to their lightweight wheels......

They make the TE37SL in 18x8.5+35 and 18x9.5+22. If they are similar in weight to the regular TE37 (I think they are just painted different with special decals but don't really know) then the weights would be something like 17.2lbs in front and 18.3lbs in the rear.

Many people run 18x10+25. If you did 18x9.5+22 it would give 3mm extra fender clearance and 9mm more inner clearance.
As you know a ton of it depends on tire selection and camber. If you want to put a 285 on there it is going to be tough either way. Plus to give perspective (maybe he can chime in) it should only be about 4mm less wheel to fender clearance than Roffle Waffle has in the rear. Again tires will play some factor in this as he runs a 265 I believe and you might opt for a 275. |

18x9.5 et22 should be fine in the rear. I had 19x9.5 et22 wrapped in 275/30/19 T1R's in this pic and I had no rubbing issues. Keep in mind I had my fenders shaved and I ran -2 camber. I had lots of clearance so I later spaced the rear out 10mm and I still never rubbed on the street even while taking freeway ramps and going over railroad tracks. I only rubbed occasionally going over bumps and dips while pushing the car at autox events.
Judging by the rim clearance in the pic I'm sure you can put on more aggressive tires than T1R's if you are ok with running -2 camber.

I'm on Advan RGII's 18x9 et22 front and 18x10 et25 rear.
This is how they fit with max caster and about -3.5 camber front and -2 camber rear. I now have them spaced out 10mm in the front and 5mm in the rear. I only rub in the rear when hitting dips and bumps while going full throttle.

The widest Volk Racing wheel currently available in BMW fitment is 18x10.5" ET20 TE37SLs. We can have 18x11" TE37SLs special ordered, but it would require at least 20 people to be committed in order to make a production.
