Z4 Remote Reset
Finally got my remote fixed...well mostly anyway.
If you're remote is not working properly try this out. 1. Turn your ingition to position 2. 2. Turn off the car and take out the key 3. Hold down the arrow button and press the roundel 3 times. 4. Repeat with your second key. Remote should begin working afterwards. I tried this myself and it didn't work. Magically when I got the dealer, they tried it and it seems to work fine now. |

If I recall correctly, you have about 15 seconds to do everything.
The valet at my closest dealership did it in nothing flat.

Took it back to the dealer...they did the key reset again...next thing is that if it stops working they'll order me new keys. Since neither key works...I'm thinking that it's the remote transmitter/reciever on the car...any thoughts?
