seat Mcoupe very bottom foam loose?

hi, just having a look at my Z4 Mcoupe drivers seat, the very bottom of the seat, the section where it meats the back, so in the bottom of the V (we all now know where i am talking about), so yeah the bottom of the V (when looking side on) when your bum sits, has no support... ie i can press down on it with my fingers and the only resistance is from the leather.

seems to me something on the bottom of the chair has let go??

anything you guys can point me to?

I already know how to remove the seat and yeah i am pulling the battery before disconnecting that massive plug under the seat...

I hope just a hanger has slipped out and i can put it back in???

cheers

Okay, just answered my own question ; )

Yep bottom of the seat had given way. The plastic hang up's sheared on the very back and both sides... (All of it towards the rear of the seat.) PO must have been a fat bastard.. Lol

Anyways, sorted it with a bit of ingenuity and my mums help behind a sewing machine. My mum rocks!!!!

She sew together 3 fat Velcro straps made to lenth and now the seat is back to supporting my butt. Looks Spanker too ; )

Love my mum ( ESP while she is visiting from Down Under) : P

Nice quality job by your mum there!

I'm sure others who have or will face this will wish they were in your shoes.

Garage List
I will be liberally copying the SHIT out of her design, soon.

The idea of using the velcro straps is really, really smart over time.

Now I just need to yank my seat out...
