z4 mod journal
well, some time without seeing a mod journal so asked myself ¿why not starting one of my own?
so here it goes: this is how the car looked when I bought it the car after installing the new seats and retrofitting the nav system after testing the brakes now in the shop installing teins and some other bits

don't know yet how the ride is as the car is still on the shop but I promise I'll let you know as soon as I find out .
I bought the performance calipers and painted em. a new pic

just ordered the following parts:
z4m bumper sport side skirts original ac schnitzer diffuser original ac schnitzer wings bmw individual shift knob bmw individual steering wheel to buy next: bmw individual interior trim imola red door panels (waited em for 5 months but topstitch never delivered http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=753600 ) stoptech rear drilled rotors rear high performance pads (looking for suggestions) z4m bumper ac schnitzer fron spoiler

took my car to the dyno and it gave 193hp in 4th which is less than impressive given that the car advertised hp is 218 (2.5si).

took the car to the shop again to fit the z4m exhaust and relocate the battery to the z4m position with oem parts .

Wow!!! went to the dyno to test the car with the recently installed quad exhaust and it made 219hp (201whp)at 2500mts above sea level which should be around 240hp (10% more) at sea level (stock it should make 218hp at sea level according to BMW as it's a 2.5si). this would mean that the exhaust mod added around 26hp as it was making 193hp in the same altitude just a week before . here's the graphic, I don't know much about this but maybe someone in here with more experience can shed some light on what it means.
