*Solution to a Common Rattle*

Symptom: Noise comes from the rear of the car (Trunk). Sounds like Plastic hitting/rubbing together and happens while going over holes/bumps.

I took out the paneling out of the rear of the trunk. My brother drove my car over some bumps while I sat in the rear.

Here is what I found…

Hrmmm, nice to see what the rear shock mount looks like.

I wonder if we can get a rear strut tower bar in there...

Is there some trick to removing the panels which conceal the shocks? Do they just pop out? Are there hidden fasteners? Is there a sequence that must be followed? Please advise.

yes. there is a ton of clips and things over lap each other. It was time consuming and hard. But once you look and get an idea of what overlaps what you will get the hang of it.

Others use duct tape. I use hockey tape.
