I Don't think this is normal ? Is IT ? "MPG"
I have an Z4, 2004 its a 2.5 M54
I want to know how many miles its suppose to give with the Fuel TANK Fulled. I Live in Puerto Rico the gas in here is sold by Liters my car takes up 53$ with Premium Gas and it only gives me 200 Miles.. Is this is normal in this cars? I know z4 maybe are heavier than others bmw but i think its not normal... The Question is, With your tank FUEL and you reset the ODO, How many miles do you can RUN Thanks |

15L per 100km is not normal. I get 9-12 with the S54 depending on driving.

Too many variables to do a proper comparison unless done in the same city under the same condition. For example, "City" driving condition in Dakota won't be the same as New York or LA. It's somewhat pointless to get a poll on MPG, IMHO.

I usually get around 250-300 driving city and highways, however I did have a similar issue.
In my case one of the rubber hoses behind the MAF sensor developed a tear and not all the air going in the engine was measured. Eventually it threw a code and I found the problem. |

I average 19-21mpg. This is largely from my daily work commute (~43mi roundtrip) which is a mix of city and highway-ish driving...no real highway, per say, just a few long stretches of road w/ no stop signs or stoplights (only idiots that can't drive). I drive sane but still fill up every 4th day.

In my 3.0si I get about 300-330 miles per tank.

Boricua, are you always caught up in the traffic jams that plague our island? Constant stop and Go traffic wreaks havoc on MPG. In my M I get about 300 but most of my miles are highway. Saludos
