rpi exhaust installed

i still have some hangers on order, but i love the exhaust so far. the tips just need some alignment still. i didnt think i would like the tips, but i actually wouldnt change them now. really look good in person all polished up

Looks amazing! I personally thought that maybe they'd be to loud for daily use. What do you think?

maybe for a daily driver yes. but as a weekend car, i wanted something i would enjoy hearing. i love the sound and tone of the rpi. i also sound deadened my trunk space and getting some hangers soon i hope

^rear mufflers have nothing to do with emissions test/pass.

I'm lost. I've had my rpi's on now for about a year, but I've not heard of hangers.
What are they and how do they help?

They have rubber isolators and up/down left/right tip adjustments. They reduce vibrations into the cab resulting in less drone. Look up dkf hangers

Just ordered my set, did you buy the dkf hangers? I don't want to have to modify my rpi's

i did. the only thing you have to change is the nut attached to the rpi hanger. apperantly the bolt that comes with the hanger is a different size

Seems easy enough. As long as I don't have to cut or bend anything I'm good. Do they make a meaningful difference?

I just got mine and installed. I don't think they are nearly as loud as people make them sound. Sounds good. I don't have hangers or sound insulation. Will commute to work tomorrow and see how they are. I have a mainly stock car.

I like the startup and lifting of the gas to make it pop and gargle. Wot is pretty damn good too

if ur pair is brand new, work them in for a few hundred miles and they should open up a bit more
