Exhuast in Houston
Any board members here live in Houston have an exhaust on there car i can listen to? Im trying to avoid dropping thousands on a raspy or annoying exhaust..(drone). Youtube videos really don't do much, everything sounds liek a lawn mower to me (hondaish).

If you are willing to drop thousands on a good exhaust but you don't want any rasp, check out the Eisenmann Sport. Most clips are of the race version, which is more open. The sport has perforations and I believe an extra baffle to keep it mellow. On my ZRMR there is next to zero drone but it sounds amazing when you unleash the right foot a bit.

Try Remus. Every product I've heard has made the car sound meaner and slightly louder; no drone or riced-up sound.

Might check out the next BMWCCA coffee meet. I have a BMS exhaust, and Dennis has a red roadster has a Diablo exhaust. We generally go to the meets so you could hear two in one location. There is also another guy Mark has a different exhaust here in town.

This seems like a great deal: http://www.stromungexhaust.com/Video.asp?VideoID=3540
I don't know why it says 07/08 M Coupe as I think it fits all Z4M's.... I have heard there is little/no drone with this brand as well. |

If anyone is in the mood for a chuckle, have a look at this exhaust:

I just got these for my 06 Z4MR (they fit all three years of production, not sure why it did not show up). I was pleased with the construction and the design. Larger pipes fit well and are staggered like OEM. Some others are not and they look less than great. No fitment issues. Still getting used to sound. I drive with top down mostly as this is a weekend car. While it sounds good, it is louder in certain situations. Really need to get my wife to do some drive byes so I can hear it from outside.
