Manhart has taken this Z4 and shoehorned the M5's V10 engine into it, something which seem to be all the rage lately, like this E91 3-series conversion.
Powered by its BMW V10 engine, the roadster is capable of 0-60 in just 3.9 seconds. Not only is its new heart from the E60 M5, but its 6 speed manual transmission and rear differential have each also been swapped out in favor of the one from the E60 M5. To help the car cope with all that power in the handling department, Bilstein PSS10 coilovers have been fitted, as well as a beautiful set of 19" black BBS CH wheels. Quote:

That fits entirely too well into the engine bay. Very cool.
I wonder what the new weight split is now with that much larger engine. ...not sure why they went with PSS10's when there are certainly better suspension offerings out there. But, then again, it ain't a bad choice...

Can't vouch for the Z4R, but I can assure you that with double the structural rigidity the Z4MC already is. I've been considering my current ride as a pet project in the future for an S65 engine, but and S85 would be crazy. I want to keep the car civilized, both powerful anf balanced.
