Z4MC Dropped on H&R

So I finally put some H&R springs on yesterday. I figured if I hate them and have extra $1500 burning a hole in my pocket I could swap out for coil-overs.

Perhaps the car is still be settling as its been less than a day.

I think it Rides a little better than stock in that it isn't quite as bouncy but obviously still firm since the shocks are the same.

Specs on your wheels (including ETs) and any rubbing issues with the HR set-up please.

The stance is perfect!

Nice no rubbing? I'm planning to replace mine with lowering springs Im afraid I might mess up the shocks if I use the stock. What shop did you bring your car?

1" drop. Only rubs on really big dip which it also did before dropping. Of course have really aggressive wheels.

Thanks. I'm working on it. Need to tint next and then look for other ways to make it look aggressive yet tasteful. For example, I wish there were reasonable aftermarket front splitters for the Z4m. The M3 has tons of options even for just the front corners.

I'm running out of ways to make the car look mean!

How's your camber? I went through tires every 10-12K till I purchased a camber kit. Nice set up!

I haven't found the stock suspension bouncy on the Z4-MC.

Anyone else experienced this?

That's more like a down-grade. I won't be changing, the stock springs are much stiffer than the H&R.

Bouncy is definitely not a word I would use to describe the handling.

Yeah I think this is subjective. I never found the stock springs bouncy and nor do I find my H&R bouncy.

Do you have the actual spring rates? If so what are they are for the stock springs and for the H&R?

There is a guy with 2 Z4's (1///M, 1 regular), and he put the Dinan springs on at the end of last year. There is a post about it.

After seeing action pictures of my car at an autox, I'd say the stock springs are not firm enought, but it's not I'd call the ride bouncy, just softer than needed given the nature of the car.

I'd love to know how the H&R/stock damper combo really performs. I want to pick up a set but don't want a downgrade in track performance.
