HELP! - CSL 19inch Z4M - F:ET44 R:ET27

Guys

I have a set of of CSL wheels for my 2007 Z4M Coupe.

The specs are as follows:

FRONT- 19X8.5 ET 44 - TYRES: 265/30/19
REAR - 19X9.5 ET 27 - TYRES: 235/35/19

Will this work with no spacers?

Yep no problem but the front won't look too hot, it will appear rather sunken...

A 10mm front spacer would give near ideal conservative z4m offsets.

Thanks Beedub, I do not want to use spacers so I guess that I will live with the sunken look.

Why don't you want to use a spacer?

i'm sure you know this and your OP has a typo...

the 235 tread should be on the 8.5", and the 265 tread should be on the 9.5".

Hi Dub

I dont want a spacer because of the vibrations and safety aspect. I drive above 260km/h often so I would not be too comfortable at those speeds with a spacer.

Freeways are gr8 in SA and cops can be bribed

If I use 245 at the front, will it rub?

The "good" spacers are piloted, so they are concentric. I don't think strength is much of an issue, put the 10mm up front. It's the same setup I have. Zero vibration. Got them from ECS tuning.

use a proper hubcentric spacer with longer studs or bolts is essentially the same as a lower offset wheel from the factory.... the spacers that are of concern are the bolt on type that then use their own studs..... like what the GTR owners use!!

If you want you can run 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear and it won't rub.

Without a spacer running 265 at the back and 235 at the front. Will i experience a bit more oversteer?

You could try 245/35 front, 265/35 rear like I have on my VS8s...while not a perfect height match, I think the extra rubber up front is worth it.

And make sure to order the longer bolts they recommend.

there should also be a BMW imprinted in between the spokes. may also be a bbs marking on the inside. the spokes are also skinier than original csl wheels. if you weigh them, you will also see a difference
