February would be the latest they would want to start the GB; the timeline I mentioned in post #95 is pretty solid Quote:

Tip Feedback
Time for tip length feedback before the final set-up.
Keep in mind the Tips grow .75" when the car is up to running temperature. Right now the tips protrude 1.25" past the bumper cold. The choice is between .5" and .75" protrusion passed the bumper. I have taped off the driver’s side tip for .5" protrusion and the passenger side for .75" it give some sort of a visual idea. Right now I am leaning toward .5" Check it out and add your opinion .5" .75" Side by Side

Thanks for the quick feedback, looks like we are all on the same page

On NA cars it should grow between .25" and .5" (this is has been confirmed on the DKF car), so you would end up between .75" and 1" FI cars seem to be running hotter EGT's and as a result the exhaust gorws betwwen .5" and .75" (this is what I am finding on my car), so I would end up with between 1" and 1.25" when hot

I like the angled tips also, but they'd have to be flush. ITT we're getting the tips down to .5~.75" of length protruding from the bumper.

DKF Dynos!
DKF sent me the Dyno results for their N/A car. The nubers are wheel horse power.
-The first file represents their average stock runs -The second file represents average runs with their full system + Active Auto Headers (NO TUNE) runs This is Dio's red Z4M coupe. DKF is planning to add a tune to maximize the systems potential. The numbers look really good so far. I am looking forward to seeing what the systme can do for my FI car stock.pdf fullsystem.pdf

I got a message from the local shop where I get my work done saying that his Red Z4M was at the shop. I was so bummed out that I was tied up at the moment and couldn't make it out there to hear his car.
Those are nice gains! I am looking forward to seeing the gains on your car as well.
