IB roadster w/ rays ITC and "super unaggressive offset"
some pics off of my bbStorm but I have pics coming up in a bit off my SLR
the wheels are 2 piece Rays ITC euromesh SD in 19x8.5/9.5 and et f42/r42-15mm spacer wheels weights are 24/26lbs the tires are 245/35 and 275/30 dunlop direzzas as promised some more pics of my soon to be gone rays... leaning towards 20mm spacers in the rear or just changing them to BBS CH. let me know what you all think! Roadsters are hard to shop for....everything looks good on the Coupes

I agree
Roadsters are tough.
I went from stock to csl's and then from csl's to DPE's. Then I traded in my roadster for a coupe and now wheel choices are no problem. Only problem now is that I am stuck selling a bunch of wheels. The wheels are nice, but I don't think they do justice to your M. I think the BBS CH wheels with an agressive rear offset would look great. good luck

I think any wheel you have to put a 15mm spacer on is too much of a stretch. Good luck man.

I agree with everyone...15mm sucks...and CH's are timeless...I guess I'll put these on my wifes e90 and stick with stocks untill I find some CH's or even the miro 935<--but I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't compromise this time

I like it, but I think that you should have gone with the M fitment. That would have been a 19x10 in the rear with about +24 offset. That would have given you more lip and a concave face. That would have made a huge different. The look works, but the fitment doesn't.
Any reason you didn't go with the M fitment? |

I would have suggested a different tire than the DZ101s. On street driving, you'll likely never get them warm enough to stick at all (major complaint about them and the reason they were replaced with the StarSpecs).

Not sure I agree with the idea about going 10's in the rear. That just creates an even bigger stagger front to back, which changes the handling characteristics.

Wider wheel doesn't necessarily equal wider tire. I routinely swap my rears from my stock wheels to my track wheels which are 10s. (As I wear out my track tires, I replace them with whatever was on my OEM/street wheels, and then get new rubber for my OEM/street wheels)

Thanks ya'll!! the only reason I didn't go M fitment was b/c I got these for about half the price of the M fitments....but I took them off and went back to stocks. They are on my wifes car now, e90 LCI. I'll post pictures later!
Those wheels look amazing on my wifes AW e90 and my car looks so much better w/ my stocks back on and some spacers!! Perhaps after I refi my home, hopefully this week, I can get back to finishing my car but until then I actually like the way the stockies handle over that setup.

That rear-quarter-looking-forward shot is always the best. The Z just looks awesome that way. And even though I own a Monaco Blue, I think the IB is the best color. Sweet looking car.

Wow, these were THE wheels I wanted to get, only in the M fitment, which I think would have looked great on your car. If you've seen those, you know they have a darker finish as well as a bigger lip in the rear and of course the correct offset. They were being cleared out by dealers last year for <$1500. Unfortunately most sellers wanted more than that for a used set
They do look great on your wifes car though |
