BMW of Peabody, Massachusetts
I haven't seen to much about my area so I decided to tell you about my dealer.
BMW of Peabody, in my opinion, will be the only place I will continue to buy my cars from. They were great start to finished. The saleman was awesome (Ed Doherty) and the finance people are great (Kim-Su and Heather) and services looks like you could eat off the floors. Hell, I was so impressed after getting my 2006 330IA in Late August, that I went back in late October and bought my wife an 2006 X5. Fee |

BMW Peabody
I have to agree with FeeBear on BMW Peabody. I helped my girlfriend get into an X3 last summer and they were excellent from beginning to end. So much so that I recently purchased a black sapphire 2006 e90. I worked with Ed Dohority on both deals and I can't say enough about his friendliness, knowledge and most importantly honesty. This is the second BMW that I've owned here in New England and the first I can tell you was bought in the city (Boston) and my experience was nowhere near as enjoyable. If you're looking for a BMW anywhere in/around Boston you would be making a mistake if you didn't at least contact Ed and the folks at Peabody and give them a chance to earn your business. He will get mine as long as I'm in New England. The only negative thing I can say about Ed is he's a Duke Blue Devil and I can't stand Duke basketball. Of course, being from Indiana, I haven't had much to cheer about on the hardwood in some time. Oh well.

Wow ... Sounds like I made the right choice. I have my delivery coming up there in next couple of weeks.
I was already decided on my options, so had no chance to experience their service. It was like walk in & place order for me. Anything special to expect while taking delivery ? This is my first BMW delivery. |

My experience with Peabody was the exact opposite. The salesman kept showing me how big the brake discs were and when I later called him to talk pricing (compared to Foreign Motors West in Natick) he told me to buy the car at FMW and hung up. I went to FMW where I had previously purchased 3 BMW's and highly recommend John Maker.

Hey BMW06, they are really friendly and they will sit with you and explain all the options. Of course I was a kid in the candy store and couldn't remember anything they said :^)

Hey tsoc88,
You should have talk to the General Manager about the salesperson. That is totally unacceptable. Although I can only truly comment on my experience with them and they are tops in my book. Fee |

That's too bad.
I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience. I can only speak to mine and it was excellent. I have heard good things about FMW so I'm glad that you were able to work it out.

Congratulations BMW06
You're going to love your car. As far as taking delivery, just enjoy it. You're going to want him to speed through it so you can get out and drive. But it's worthwhile to make sure you understand everything about the car. This is my second BMW and I only half paid attention during delivery and had to go back and read the manual. Of course that's fun too! Enjoy.

Living in Peaboy this was my first stop and prefered dealer for an ED. Nice place, good people but top dollar. You'll do much better price wise elsewhere. (I've heard this as well from other customers and from sources within BMW of Peabody itself).

If you want to pay more and get treated like a stranger after buying 3 cars, this is your dealership. Just try and get a discount and you'll see the arrogance and subborness of this place. They suck. People, I discovered that there ARE dealerships that sell BMW's that actually DISCOUNT their cars. I am talkin' convertibles as well as sedans. Talk to these bozos and you'd think they were the only dealership on Earth. Do yourself a favor and shop around a little. I sure wish I did. It's a shame because their service department is excellent.
