Gooood!
Does anyone know what is the basis for that Procede adapts in between 91-93 oct. Sounds strange. Why not e.g. in between 91-96oct? Is this "adaptation" based on the Bmw ECU or some feature in Procede? Would it still gain more by tuning specifically to a certain octane rating, than having a map that's good on average for a range of octane ratings? Btw, many would be interested if you would use octane booster and try out oct rating of 93 as well. |

im confused, why are you going to put 100 octane in the car? the procede is controlling your boost and timings so how is putting 100 octane in going to help if you dont have a map in the procede for 100 octane?
not going to matter if the ecu adapts to the 100 octane because the ecu isnt controlling your engine anymore the procede is, unless the procede is just raising and lowering values from the ecu, but i dont think thats how it goes

Best of luck, and keep us posted. I would rather see you run on 91 octane, even though you can't really capitalize on the 100 octane, I just don't want the results to be questionable.

Good luck! How many runs are you makin'? if you plan on 3-5, maybe run the first 1 with 91 octane and then add progressivly more 100 octane in for each run after that (you better arrive with less than 1/4 tank). It will be good to see if the numbers get better with each increase in octane rating.
Just my $0.02! Knockem dead!
