This is usually because not all bluetooth features are always compatible. That said, I have an iphone and everything works fine. What version iphone OS do you have?

It took awhile for my wife's gen1 Iphone to sync up with our '05, phone book wasn't visable at first, then a week or so goes by and it is.

Exactly what I have. And everything works out. One thought tho, make sure you are saving your contacts on the phone and not the SIM. (not sure if that makes a difference)

as far as i know there are two phone books. one the car stores for the voice dial and the other is imported from your phone. the latter you access via the head unit. i've not played with the voice activated one.

all this should be in the manual someplace.

I haven't figured out any of the voice commands and I'm too lazy/not that interested to RTFM. I've tried probably 10 times. I even tried "Enable Afterburns"....nothing happened
