Went to dealer today .my car was scheduled for January build but had not moved status .phone call to head office who said there was build slot next week which was snapped up for me.Does someone have ideas of timelines of build time and how long until heads to shipping .
I am in Australia and think it is a 6-8 week transit time

My 330d was build in less than 3 days back in 2014. A week later it was with my dealer in Belgium (from Germany +- 800km)

My 2019 X5 was coming from SpartanBurg, USA. Also took 3 days. The day after production it was already on a boat to EU (6 weeks + 1 week (import) paperwork).

So BMW is pretty efficient. :-)

Do not know how long it takes to ship from EU to Australia.

Just got a call from my salesman, mine will go in to production begining of march and hopefully delivery middle/end of april. Ordered it back when it got released.
