First i4 deliveries and all colors seen in Norway showrooms
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com So far everyone says the car is awesome. Me, having had a G20 and now a G21 I'm afraid this will be a downgrade actually, especially in terms of interior space. UPDATE: I visited the showroom today and the interior feels exactly like seating in a 3 series. The screens are different of course, and the back seats area is less roomy, but basically it feels the same. Back windows don't go all the way down though, and the sunroof could open some more. -

Cheers
How nice I am not surprised that Norway has already gotten theirs, considering the large adaptation of EVs in Norway is huge! I'm still keeping my hope to get mine by march, i also placed my order back in June when it was first available. So i am going to be a bit jealous until i get mine I will have to comfort my self by march when i get mine and summer will just be around the corner. Happy motoring !

Haven't seen up close one myself, but people say it looks stunning. I saw one on the road once, and my impression is that both the San Remo green and the Aventurine Red need summer weather to look really great, since they are very dependant on how the light hits the paint.

Looks good, but very traditional automotive. I feel as if they have to be a bit more radical in their design language going forward. They should work to differentiate the interiors from the ICE vehicles. Similar to what they're doing with the iX SUV. Also battery range on the m50 is trash, need to work on that.

Gotta say the green badge on the license plate of one car is pretty funny. Just one more way to make your kid's friends parents in a diesel X5 feel inferior about their car choice. How the marketing works is amazing.
The Sunset orange car looks super. Just not fan of how hte distance cruise control-radar is integrated into the grille. who approved? why is it off centre? ugly. Will be even uglier when car is dirty. |

A lot of people don't want their car to look like a Prius and prefer the more classic lines. There's advantages to utilizing existing ICE platforms (lower cost), though I agree there's some downsides as well (no frunk). Personally, I think the iX design is pretty bad; if it were offered as a more subtle X5 variant I think it would sell better. I guess we'll see how the market responds.

I know it's not a fancy BMW individual color, but I think this looks sharp in black.

I agree. It catches my eye every time I see a photo of one in black. I ordered Brooklyn Grey because my current cars are all black or pretty much black... And we live in the Pacific NW of the US, so dirty cars are the norm, so I needed to change. While I think Brooklyn grey looks great and I am excited for it, I'll always say a car looks better in black.

Green one in the forest looks nice. Great photos and beautiful scenery you have there.
I like how the i4's interior just feels like a BMW instead of trying to pull weird EV gimmicks.

While i4 may not satisfy everyone's requirements, it's a great start for BMW. Very nice pictures - thanks for sharing.

They look great, came so close to ordering but holding out for a full M version.
20" alloys look stunning but then you find out that they destroy the range :

spot on!
On the WLTP cycle, the M50 is literally right near the Model 3 Performance when you consider the Model 3 allows full 100% of the battery capacity whereas the M50 is capped at 96% of its upper battery buffer, the difference in reality is about 22 miles or 35km. I do wonder where some of these people get their uneducated knowledge from? Perhaps they just read headlines and not really look into it?

So I'm wrong because I was off by 20 miles and explicitly didn't mention price in my post? I think your the one that's uneducated. If you want to argue range and fine print let's at least make sure we're comparing cars in a similar price range. |
