Piggyback Made the G80 Slower?

just came across this video and M3 with the piggy was easily taken out by a stock g82 m4! Thoughts?

Its possible if the car doesnt like it. But my guess is the g80 guy doesnt know what he is doing.

On the race chip thread there is a report of loss power during a pull, I'm guessing this might be a similar issue.

1st run in the video m3 pulls away slowly, as soon as m4 shifted into 4th it is game over.

the piggyback adds a boost to the stock ECU unless there are other issues causing a drop in the ignition timing i don't see how it would cause a power loss.

Here is a dyno with the JB4 showing the power gains, once its back in stock we will do our own testing and post the dyno results as well

Interesting. Even on the 3rd run when the M3 jumped, the M4 reeled him in.
