RaceChip G80 M3 issue

Hello,
Recently i installed a racechip piggy back to my g80 m3. Initially results were good, went from a 9.3 60-130 to a 8.1 - all is well. Did a couple more pulls and noticed acceleration dying at 128, re did the draggy same conditions and 60-130 became a 9.4, it almost feels like it's pulling timing. This is Map 7, could anyone help me resolve this?

Which map are you at? Warm up timer setting, etc.

That sucks man, hopefully its not misfiring. Curious as to what rpm is this happening at? Is there a shift delay or is the car cutting power in gear? Looks like map 7 may be too much juice under these conditions have u tried map 6? Any error codes stored in the ECU?

Just did the math top speed in 4th gear is 139. Thats smack in the middle of 4th gear (between 115-120 mph on your dragy). Its pulling power the G’s drop to zero.

This is exactly what it feels like, like it's cutting power. I just think the boost is too much for the ecu. Good eye on that

No idea. I would scan the car and see whats up before re running it. If no codes present i would try map 6 as it came from race chip.
Also try and use shell 93 and make sure not to refuel while the tankers are refilling the staton. My guess is either bad gas, misfires, or you hit the torque limiter in the trans.

Try with dummy / bypass plug and see if you are having the same issue.
If you are, something with the car.
Need to scan, try new fresh of gas, check any loose connection, etc.

This new cars with all electronic sensors, will act stupid just for a simple thing.

The black plug that came with the harness before you remove it to connect the module.

Could it be possible it's just hitting a torque limiter off the trans, because it almost won't shift into the next gear. Kindve pauses - it never did that stock 1000%. Also does not do it in map 4 just tested

Racechip is not designed with using e85 in mind. 91/93 is all you need

So I run the RC on both my current M's and both have the same tranny and I never hit the limiter on the M8 which has much more tq with the RC installed.

Have you tried an uninstall reinstall? Just thinking here as I have no idea whats happening with your exact situation. Where or who did you get the RC from? Maybe they can help and reach out to RC Germany... might need some data logging.

Gotta ask Vic55 if he can test it.
He has the car.
I never have that issue on my X3MC, which has the same tranny.
I assume all up to optimal temp when you did a pull, right?
