I think the price is high for a car that has been tracked a lot. you maybe better off putting back to stock and parting out the parts. you wont recover as much if sold in one piece than parting out. though the price is high for all the hard work it's seen. good you are open. but hey maybe there are others out there that wont matter and buy it off.

All depends on the buyer and their goals. Hopefully I find that kind of person on here and of course I'm willing to discuss price. If not, then I'll just continue to enjoy it for as long as I can. |

I can see where you are coming from. But I completely disagree with your statement. A track driven car doesn't always mean "!!" I have been through numerous cars myself - The ones that are driven fairly frequent are the ones you end up saving the most on. It's nice to have a garage Queen. But bit by bit there will be more wear and tear than a car driven more frequently and even tracked. Almost any track day driver would have seen the hopefully seldom accidents that occur because of failed components. The cars are driven harder than they are on the road. But they are also looked over and better cared for. My current Z4M was purchased from its second owner with just 18K miles. As much as it was cared for with receipts. I have spent near 15-20K in just maintenance. Full fluids, did an early inspection 2 (because I thought why not), rebuilt the coilovers, new camber plates, and almost all dried up bushings from under the car. The rubber bushings dry up way faster on a garage Queen. More recently, I had to replace both front tie rods due to shimmying on the highway. We took the old ones out and they could literally pass off as new still. But even though they looked new, the insides were tried. As long as the OP did frequent maintenance in between his track days. This is a no brainer to me if I was in the market for another Z4M. GLWS OP. |

Contrary to popular forum opinion, us track guys actually do love our cars and ourselves. Safety and reliability are top priorities. My street car is a Cayman S that I barely have time for. It goes to an indy shop when needed, and I generally don't bother beyond that. It's under warranty, so I know I'll always have that safety net as long as I follow basic maintenance. In contrast, the M is up on the quick jack at least once a week while I pull, prod, push, twist everything to make sure that it's all good. It gets HPDE inspections more frequently than some people shower. Once a year I pay a shop to spend 2-3 hours going over EVERYTHING in order to make sure I never miss a single track session. The fluids are fresh at any given time. I know every inch of this car and can confidently say that is in excellent condition mechanically. Cosmetically, my tolerances are higher than others but that's all fixable if you throw money or time at it. |

Great looking car with a serious list of top notch modifications for somebody looking for a canyon or track day toy. Contrary to what others may think, this presents strongly against folks asking for similar dollars on a car without rod bearings, VANOS or other common wear and tear items addressed.
Definitely could use more pictures of the entire car, interior and cage design! No doubt a RIOT to drive (we need a video!) |

Thanks! Will work on pics and video.
And yes, the car is bonkers. I track with PCA a lot, so it's always fun when people come up to me after a session to ask, 'WTF is that thing?!'. |

Sometimes track guys take care, replace parts and maintain the car way more than people who daily drive it. For me, track driven doesn't mean much. What matters most is how owner maintained the car. Glws!!

Great and honest seller and have personally seen this car In action at WGI. It was professionally maintained And the OP did everything right.
I sold my nearly identical coupe last year within 24hrs at a similar asking Price and higher mileage. If you want a track car that is safe with all the right maintenance and mods, it will cost you double to do it on your own. I’d suggest cross listing this on Facebook in M3 Track Cars and HPDRE Marketplace. Good luck with the sale and sorry to see you parting ways with it! Hopefully we can hang out at the track again sometime soon!
