I’ve noticed this occurring on my iPhone and iPad as well. It specifically occurs in the Members Classifieds, such as here:

For me, I have to scroll into the 2nd or 3rd page (the iOS app shows Page 2/n or 3/n in the lower right corner) when it crashes.

I think it might be a memory issue, but I have no good fix for the time being unfortunatly. I am quietly working on a big overhaul (under the skin overhaul) but it is still months out for the time being. Once that is released then I think I can look more closely at the memory issue

Seems like there’s been a bunch of issues via the app lately. Photos don’t show up half the time, and I just got a message that I can’t send PMs because my account doesn’t have rights to (member for 19 years).

apptest In addition to the items mentioned above by ‘Cane — which I’ve also seen — I’m noticing that embedded YouTube videos in posts no longer play correctly in the iOS app. For example, this post from Jason:

The BIMMERPOST iOS App notification alert SOUND is not working for me. Please see the iOS and App version data in the photos below. I also seem to have no Search button either. Can't find it anywhere. iPhone notification sounds are "ON" for BIMMERPOST. The banner alerts work but there's never any sound alert. Surely this could be an easy fix??

I don’t really know about the sound too much, it should be following your system sounds controlled by the iPhone itself. Are you getting sounds from other apps that use push notifications as the very first question to confirm

Yes I remember the BMW “Chime” sound. But what you fixed is still great. 2026 for me is “the year of fixing things that are not right” and this was one of those things albeit a tiny one. Water pressure regulators and leaking sprinklers are others.. I digress. Thank you again for your attention to this issue.

Anyone had an issue with "Schedule Service for tire wear" on their app?

During the brake module recall visit the service tech noted my rear tires needed to be replaced and this shows as “Tire service, rear tires” on my mobile app. I have replaced the rear tires but no matter how I change the tire settings on the IDrive the app will not remove the tire service needed notification. The new Continentals are all season tires, but not Star designated so the IDrive will not automatically read to reset my app. I even tried using the "manual tire setup" on IDrive.

I researched using BMW AI Assistant and received a response "you cannot reset the worn tire" warning directly.

I contacted my dealer and explained my issue and what I had tried on my IDrive and app. I asked if the service tech who recorded the tire wear finding could change my report to show new tires were installed to remove the "Vehicle Issue" on my app. The service specialist recommended all the things I had already tired. I explained again making the IDrive tire settings changes and verifying the air pressure was not removing the app "Vehicle Issue. I asked again if the service tech could change my report and it was suggested I make a service appointment.

How to I remove the "Service Issue" for bald tires that have been replaced with new tires?

Wrong app. This thread is for the Bimmerpost app, not the MyBMW app.

You can try signing out, deleting, reinstalling, then signing back in. Otherwise, good luck.

This happens in every thread. Videos play fine if opened directly in Safari or the YouTube app, but there is no way to open externally from the Bimmerpost app.
