And that is one reason you wouldn't want me working on your car. I thought it went in the engine bay (I always bee the BOV and intercoolers in the front). Perhaps I have only seen superchargers in the bay though

Edit: anywhere you put it in the bay things are going to get tight and have to squeeze.

I don't think so. The Z4 engine bay is plenty big.

LOL, you're right it does go in the engine bay. The turbo and wastegate would go near the exhuast manifold which would be near the bottom toward the cabin. The intercooler would feed into the intake manifold which typically would be near the top of the vehicle.

On our vehicle's most likely an exhaust manifold would have to be fabricated to properly fit all the goodies inside and still look nice.
