Stubby Antenna

Hey guys, looking to buy a stubby antenna for my coupe.

Is this the current go-to, or is there something else I should go for:

Thanks!

Many of us purchased the 3" stubby antenna from mangowalk on ebay. They make them from about 1.5" up to 7" or more. They're all slightly different, so pick the one you like. It's all personal preference.

Hows the reception? Any significant difference from stock?

YMMV depending on how strong of a signal you normally get in your region. I live 20 miles from downtown Boston so I have no problems.

It's like a whole $30 on amazon why cheap out with one that won't look right?

IMO, the Mangowalk is a better match than OE.

It looks better, the base aligns perfectly and the materials texture is the same.

I have the mongowalk also, but your photo depicts exactly why I really do not like its looks 100%. It is a bit bent, not 100% strait. Mine looks the same way, I am sure no one else notices it, but for some crazy reason I do. I have the part number for the BMW stubby and I have had the number for years and I still have not replaced it...must not bother me too much :-)
