Can't read airbag codes with C310+
I'm trying to resolve the airbag light issue in my '03 Z4 3.0L. I suspect it's probably the passenger seat sensor, so I ordered a Creator C310+ because I have read where people have used them to read the SRS codes.
Of course I get the C310+, and nowhere does it show SRS codes. Can anyone help? As in HOW you are supposed to get SRS codes using this scanner? Thanks, Rob |

Edit: And the ordeal I went through lol. It’s a mat in my sparco seat ended up while it was at the dealer for something else asked if they could reset it while in there and they said they couldn’t cause the mat is aftermarket, then I showed them the sales receipt from a Texas bmw dealer that sold the mat online and they said they couldn’t because it was installed improperly by me and shorted out (so much so they put that in my service print out receipt for that to really piss me off). So when I got my schwaben and cleared it on my own I’m thinking wtf on mainly levels but if it was cya for them being put in an aftermarket seat they should have just said it. Some reason I couldn’t get the emulator to work so figured let’s do it the right way so it’s there. Sheesh Last edited by Piper1; 02-09-2023 at 01:36 PM.. |

Okay, I got it. Had to unplug, then reinstall it. Then a whole lot more menu options appeared. Strange.
It showed me a ton of SRS codes, but once cleared, only passenger seat occupancy sensor fault came back. Perfect. Now I need to find a resistor to bypass that dang occupancy sensor. |
