Start with the Suspension sub-forum, much of this has been discussed ad nauseam
https://www.zpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=116

If you're looking for the basics hard to go wrong with Koni , Bilstein or the like. An eBay no-name kit will get the aesthetics done but is likely to be a worse ride than stock and you'll be looking to upgrade - pay now or pay later.

I put Bilstein B6's on my first Z4MC at about 42k miles. Fantastic upgrade from stock, pairs perfectly with the stock springs. Will do the same to my current car at around 50k when the time comes, as well as refreshing the FCABs and RTABs at the same time.

I Like those, Did you happen to use Blistens for the front struts also? or something different?.

found these on amazon for the rear, the front options are decidedly less clear, I'm just looking for stock or slightly better , which on a vehicle that has 125K and is still rides on the OEM shocks and struts that came with the car, I'm pretty sure wrapping bungee cords around the strut tower would be an improvement at this point. but i 'm not looking to throw stupid money down on some KW v3's , and although they are pretty, @$2500 , that $500 more than i paid for the car. so yeah, there that..

Yes, B6 all around.

125k and still on the stock dampers? Oh my. You're gonna think you got a new car. Definitely do the FCABs and RTABs at the same time.

I have the FTABS already in a 10 peice kit, the rears I do not, would it be worth getting this Comprehensive Rear end bushing kit?
BMW Comprehensive Bushing Kit - Lemforder E46BUSHL

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...caAmZsEALw_wcB

or this mid range $50 kit?
BMW Trailing Arm Bushing Kit - 33326770817KIT

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...AaAmoCEALw_wcB

or is the RTABs them self enough?
Pair Set of 2 Rear Lower Forward Trailing Arm Bushings Lemforder For BMW E46 E85

The front dampers I actually order were Bilstein 35-124115 Monotube Strut Assembly, Front, Left & Right, 36mm

The rears are Bilstein B6 Rear Shock Set For 2003-2005 BMW Z4 3.0i

Thank for the heads up Brother

^^ Good question. I'm not savvy enough to offer advice on which way to go there. I'm sure someone else will chime in.
