Good Morning All! My e86 MC just went live on BaT. Please check it out if you get a chance/are interested. All details and pictures are available following the link. Auction Lot# is 13456 If you have any questions, please contacted me via BaT (as I'm will check that more actively and questions and answers have visibility for transparency) Also, I feel like Mar48 are in similar places, just saw his AW/IR for sale citing the need for back seats (which is a big reason for me needing to sell as well)! What are the chances! Modifications include: - BMW OE F10 M5 Illuminated Shift Knob - Weisslicht LED Reverse lights - Gloss black kidney grills (stock grills included in sale) - Stubby Antenna (stock included in sale) - Volk TE37 Saga 18x9.5 et 22 in Diamond Dark Gunmetal with new Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 255/35R18 (OE BMW 224m refinished in Shadow Chrome and w/nearly new Hankkor Ventus S1 Noble2 included in sale) - TMS Camber bolts - PS Design Velocity Stacks (OE Airbox included) - Alpha-N Custom Tune by Tuning Tech Frank Smith, tuned by Frank on his dyno in Maryland (very easily reverted to stock, MAF tune if desired) - NGK Iridium Spark Plugs - CF Rear Lip Spolier - MStache2 Front Lip Spoiler - Stock camber pin removed (included in sale) - Brake Calipers powdercoated Red

It's bizarre you never see white with Imola Mcoupes go up for sale. Since Sunday there are now 3 for sale. Good luck with your BaT sale. It looks like you really enjoyed your ride!

It's like we all got to together to flood the market (we didn't or at least I wasn't part of the discussion)! I know when I was in the market I was looking for AW/IR specifically so I guess that's good for buyers. On the other hand...a bit hard to stress the rarity right now as 3/57 are on the market. To be fair, I didn't realize when I submitted to BaT it would be a few weeks.
I love the car, would love to keep it, and know I will regret selling...but life comes in and priorities slap me in the face...

Would you be interested in selling me your volks? Or if you cant change the listing since the bid already started, if you want to talk to the winning bidder and see if they want to sell me the volks?

APARSHr35, I might have been interested prior to the initiation of the auction but opted not to part out with consideration to convenience. At this point, with the auction in process, we will have to see if I can part the wheels&tires as they're part of the sale of the vehicle at the moment.

White Coupes for the win!
Your car looks kind of familiar! I'm also in Atlanta (Woodstock). Mine also has an even rarer Madiera Walnut dash. Supposedly 1 of 5 with Alpine White, Imola seats, and the Madiera Walnut dash. Less than 20,000 miles!
GLWS! |

Beautiful car Michael! Did your wheels come stock that color? Also, please don't take this the wrong way but I'm glad we're far enough I won't have(get?) to see your car regularly, if ever, as a reminder to my soon to be regret of sale.
On another note, interested in adding a driver to go with that collector ?

Sorry, I already have a "driver" M Coupe. Obviously, I'm a big fan of this chassis. More on it here: https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1451764 |

Good morning! Just a few hours left in the auction! Don't miss out!
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2007-bmw-m-coupe-3/ Wow! That's an awesome driver! Haha I don't suppose I could talk you into a third? Would love for her to go to a home like yours! And I don't blame you! It's a wonderful chassis!

$29,100 is a pretty strong price. The car is nicely modded, so that helped. I bought my black car 2 years ago for $24,000. 75k stock in pristine condition.
Congrats on the sale! |

Thanks everyone for your interest, comments, etc. The vehicle was sold and is on it's way to her new home. My apologies for the delayed response, things have been both a whirlwind and a lull (emotionally).
@robertm Thanks, I would say I am happy overall. I wasn't aware that BaT reserved the right to make up the difference between final bid and reserve if the reserve wasn't met. BaT had already requested a reserve lower than I would've preferred so I was preparing and would probably have preferred to part the car for private sale. Michael9218 Thanks for the kind words! Enjoy your coupes in good health!

I've heard about them insisting on reserves lower than the seller would like. I suspect that's a theme with them. Too many "Reserve Not Met" auctions would not be good for business I guess. The weird part to me is that I see RNM's at final bids that look market correct to me, which makes me wonder if there is a bias towards some cars and/or against other cars. Thanks again for sharing your experiences. |
