To be honest you might be right...38 sounds familiar. I can't believe I don't remember offset

Love the look of the RXII and since it's long discontinued was tough to find a set. Still battling TPMS since it was designed before these damned sensors.

While I do love the BBS lace design, it just shows up on almost EVERY Z4 I see these days. Its almost the new STOCK look. Perhaps they should have come from BMW this way..

They are a engineering perfect design in my opinion and I LOVE your cars that run them.

So in an attempt to be different....I continued to look for a strong and light forged 3-piece wheel and bought these Japan made SSR GT-10's .

-19x9 et43 -245
-19x10 et24 -275

I'll need to slightly roll the fender arch in the rears to avoid max compression rubbing. Fronts are fine. These are the same offsets as I ran with my previous 19" wheels with the rears being 9.5" wide.

They also need a full restoration due to salt air in Japan and curb rash.

I have ordered CF -(blk. & Slvr.) center caps like I used on the Axxia Penta's to match my hood,trunk and side roundels.

What do you folks think ? Certainly not the common Z4 look....or German for that matter....but my roots do stem from the JDM world after all.

I'm thick, er.. thick-skinned .....so comment away,lol.

thinking of replacing my style 107 18ers with the bmw performance 313 19ers.

will i have a problem with rubbing?

spec for the 313 19ers are 37F and 39R.

LOL everything about this is wrong. First of all, a 235/35 and 245/35 don't match. You're rears are 1/3rd of an inch taller. Not to mention 255 or 265 would be more ideal for a 9.5 width.

Then your offsets are way too aggressive, assuming this is for a non-M Z4 (your info says you have a 335i). For an 8.5 front, you'll want an offset of high 30's to low 40's. For a 9.5" rear, you really don't want to go lower than offset of 35

Does having the M sport suspension option on a 3.0si change the setup to M hubs/rims etc?

I looked at some great

18 X 8 et35 225/40 R18
18 X 9 et 35 255/35 R18

today and the guy at the shop should fit fine, not rub or stick out the fender.

Nope, M sport suspension is firmer shocks and lower springs but hubs are the same. Those wheels/rims should fit nicely. Be sure to snap pics and upload here.

Thanks for the response. I now have an 04 Z4 and looking for a new setup as the car has the stock 17" which look anemic. I like the look of the M6 replicas. What would be the ideal size and fitment if I can find them? Thanks. I prefer to buy a set from a forum member but I am struggling with fitment so I may need to go new. I am also looking at a set of 336 189 Sport wheels and tires but I am not sure they fit and I cannot find any pictures of a Z4 with these wheels on them. Thanks again for the repsosne.

Apex Arc8 17x9.5 et35 square, Hankook RS-3 255/40. Lowered approx 1" all around, camber plates and 5mm spacer used up front. This seems like the max you can push on our cars. NO rub during normal driving, rubbing front right liner on the track.

i still can't believe you got those to fit.

Haha, thanks... being lowered and adding camber helps. W/o dialing in the front I'd most certainly rub although I the 5mm spacer up front effectively makes it 9.5" et30 lol. I have about neg 2.8 degrees but I'm fairly certain rears would work on stock setup. The fact that Tirerack says 10" rear et40 works, that's actually a third of an inch further out than what I have so there's plenty of room back there.

So the 313 18inches are ordered. But i gotta wait 4-5 weeks ARGH!!

But, can anyone tell me what is printed or stamped on the 313 rims on the inside etc, so that i confirm that when i get them through the 3rd party company i had to order from that they are OEM legitimite.

We picked up a 2007 3.0 Si Coupe and want to get the largest R-comp we can on it.
I'm going to use my Enkei RPF1 (18x8.5 et40) square setup. Currently, I have BFG R1 in 245/40. They clear my e90 withouth any issues at all. Do you think we'll clear them on the Z4? With you running a 17x9.5 up front, I have a feeling it should work.
Do you think a 265/35 BFG R1 will clear?
Of course trimming fender liners won't be an issue since it'll be a race car.

245 should be fine, but you'll most likely need a spacer up front for anything wider than a 245. 265's maybe pushing it because not only are you going wider but you're also going taller (as compared to a 255/35). To be honest, I don't think you'd benefit much from a 265 on a 8.5, 255 seems perfect imo.

Btw as your car progresses and you get to the point of installing a cage, let me know. I'm thinking about doing a half cage but chances are you'll beat me to it so it'd be good to know what's involved, who you went with, etc.

Thanks for the info! I figured 245s should work. With the lighter weight (about 2800lbs) and not too much HP, I think they'll be good, plus they're cheaper than 265s.

Unfortunately, BFG doesn't make a 255/35 R1, so they go from 245/40 to 265/35.

We're crossed who is going to be doing the cage right now. Either we have Chris at Bimmerworks do it slowly over several weeks or have a local shop do it in two days and just pay them. It's about $1,500 for a full - NASCAR style cage. I'm not sure how much a half cage will be, but would be excellent for harnesses to hold you in place and added safety.

Yea, I wouldn't go the full cage route myself seeing how I only plan on doing DE's and I still plan the drive the car on weekends. But like I said if you go with someone local, I'd be really interested on the process, check out the end product, etc.
