E46 Touring Wheels
Recently finished restoring the exterior on my E46 touring. The wheels are staggered but came with 225 tires all around from the PO. I had them refinished and just ordered proper sized tires (235 fronts, 255 rears). Am now debating if I should go up a wheel size to 18". What do you guys think?

Looks good with the 17s. You will also get a harsher ride with 18s.
Since your wheels look great I would stick with what you have. ![]() |

You are right staying with the lighter 17" will keep the car more nimble. I was thinking going 18" to fill up the wheel arches a bit more.

I put style 162s on both of my E46 330Ci and that damn wheel looked just perfect on the E46... and didn't need spacers

Once upon a time, I did have those on the wagon. While fitment was perfect it didn't feel period correct to me.

Found a square set of fronts Style 67. Had them refinished one shade darker than OEM shadow chrome to contrast Alpine White.

Wheel help
Quote:
Anyone have advice on finding these wheels or another M-type in the 5 spoke split? I love the CSLs, but just feels a bit aggressive for me at the moment. All help is much appreciated! |

Lovely wagon & all three sets of wheels look good but I think the Style 68's suite it the best

I agree that all the options are fine.
Back in the day I had an E46 wagon with BBS wheels, which I really liked: Model RC, long since unavailable, in 17" with a square setup. I still miss that car. ![]()
