Bit of a hodgepodge. Wilson upper, lower, and 18" bbl - all OD coated. I used their bbl in my 300 HAM'R build and it's a tack driver. Brownells BCG a coworker had for a Grendel build he never did. Plan was to use it to get it rolling, but it works well and will probably stay. CMC Drop In Trigger Single Stage Tactical Flat 3.5lbs I caught on sale at Palmetto for $99. Wilson Combat / Smoke - carbon fiber 10.1 LOP stock I bought a year or so ago in a deal and already had. Odin Works adjustable buffer, Hogue overmold grip and most of the other parts are Strike Industries aluminum lightweight parts. Added the Phase 5 extended bolt drop because I have it on all my other AR's and like them to be the same.

That is a Bushnell Droptine 3x9x40 I already had on my shelf. It'll work till I get what I want. Probably add a red dot to the side for those late night yotes and get up on you at a run that a scope can never seem to find.....LOL

I knew I'd like this forum! If it has a gun section we are good to go!

Some of my German toys. I probably have 15-20 HK's but these are the fun ones. Looking forward to some G80/Machine Gun photo shoots once my car shows up!

Awesome collection of HK. I have only one MP5 with suppressor and a Tactical with suppressor. Curious about the s/semi/burst/auto version you have. I find short bursts easy on my MP5. Is there a really big advantage to having the burst option?

You rule dude.

The burst mode is just a party trick. On Full Auto you can easily pull off pairs or triples with trigger manipulation. It's still fun though. I just picked up an SD and it's getting all the trigger time these days. I need to photograph it.

I considered selling the M16 and getting an HK53 to replace it. But.... well the M16 is iconic in the 556/223 space and didn't. Is the HK53 easily controllable as an MP5?

No It's not controllable. 100% keep the M16. It's a much better 5.56 platform than the 53. Way better.

Thanks. I used to have an FN FAL in FA and that was a joke. First 1-2 rounds on target then not. LOL.

Maybe you can help me decide my next HK. Currently have a VP9T, USP9T, Mark23, USP40, P3040, MP5-22 (Not really HK), AP5-M & AP5 (Century, but will get a SP5-K soon).

So I can't decide between a HK45C-T or a USP45C (swap to threaded barrel), looking for a compact 45 I can thrown a can on. Or do I just get the regular USP45T, but I already have the Mark23. Trying to resist USP45C stainless and getting the threaded barrel.

So I own literally all of those and If I had to pick one I'd go with the USP45CT if you can find one. The HK45CT is nice too but the grip moves around in my hand a lot. It looks cool, matches my P2000 but just doesn't have the grip texture of the old school yet timeless USP line.

I'm leaving my stainless models with non threaded barrels so no comment there. But if you could track down a USP45CT it would be my pick. They only go up in value.

Since you already have the MK23 I'd l'd save the 45Tactical until later. You could always go USP9 Tactical and get a jet funnel kit for a nice suppressed 9mm setup as well.

My wife commissioned this Cabot Damascus 1911 as a surprise to celebrate the upcoming birth of our daughter. She gave it to me at the diaper shower. Cabot loved the build so much they now sell it as the "Serenity" with a light rail built in. This is the original. All the parts are stainless, down to the solid sights, grips, and screws. I still get goosebumps when I handle it. It will be passed down to our daughter Emma and from her to her children one day. I hope it stays in our family forever. It's priceless to me.

Thanks, I have a line on a USP45C with 6 mags in excellent condition and will just wait for the thread barrel to become available, $900+300 is a lot cheaper than what OG USP45CTs go for $2k+, could even upgrade the trigger and still be cheaper. Perhaps some day get a HK45 some model as they are cheaper and easily available, just realized the Compact models have more of a USP grip where the full size is VP/P30 like. Really want a stainless USP of some sort.

My LGS gets the Standard Damascus models in every so often, they are soooooo beautiful. Always trying to sucker my buddy into getting one.
