Rim Cost

I do not know much on wheels, but i've a question.
My local Aftermarket shop told me they wanted $1200 for a set of R-1 Gunmetal rims. Good deal? Or no? If not, where should I look for rims and tires?

Tire Rack is a good starting point. They have a big selection and decent prices so at least you'll have a benchmark.
