seat occupancy MAT
So many threads to search through, can anyone fill me in on part numbers for the mat i need, i can find the the e46 one, but not the one for z4m..... im swapping in some light weight buckets and want a functional airbag for the passenger side.... HELP.
If worst comes to worst ill have to buy one of the bypass modules but really didn't want to go that route.

Hey Beedub, how goes
IIRC the mat is formed into the foam cushion. I don't think its available as a separate part # (not absolutely positive though)

That's interesting... I looked at realoem and got the same as you. Not sure why it's not listing the sensor mat by itself. The sensor mat should fit left or right... by flipping upside down etc to have the wiring harness connection face the right way.
Personally I would phone your local BMW parts department and ask them for the part number and price.

Mind fart... you are absolutely correct. Can't believe I didn't catch that. Interesting how you can focus on something (question) without seeing the obvious....
