If you mean the light above the license plate, I think it comes with the car - as mine lights up too. Your car doesn't do this? Odd. Maybe it's a US feature, as I know that some countries do not get the same features as we do, and vice versa.

I don't know how long this has been a requirement, but all US cars have lighted rear license plates.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I've only just learned that not all countries have or get offered the same features as we do. For example, the UK does not get the premium package as we do, for an option. Learn something new every day.

We sure do have the light above the license plate too, it just that this one looks like it has a xenon look, mine has the normal oem "yellow" bulbs. I'm looking for the white/light blue look that the latest BMWs have!

Sorry, I didn't know that you meant Xenon lights, I thought you meant lights in general. I'd have to look, but I am pretty sure that mine are also white, not yellow. Again, I'd have to look to be sure. But it looks like you found where to get them from the link you posted, so hopefully they will work for you? Good luck.

My 07 Si came with the oem clear bulbs and are bright. You can pull yours out and take a look to see if they have any coating on them.

thanks... they are led hyper white bulb you can them find them anywhere online like ebay for a few bucks.
