Carbotech XP-10s are great on the track and I never encountered pad fade. The fluid always faded before the pads- I used to use Motul RBF 600. The only issue I had with these is that I found them to be quite an on/off pad; good thing about that is that the initial bite is very good. And the bed in procedure is a PITA.
On the street, they work well cold and hot but are noisy and honk/squeal under light braking esp. during the last few car lengths of a stop. |

I use stock pads on the street and a dedicated set of OEM rotors with Hawk HT-10 pads front and rear for the track. The pedal feel is much better and it keeps my brake/accelerator pedal's positioning consistent durng the track session...thus helping my heel/toe downshifts.
Until the HT-10s get warmed up the initial bite is a bit hard to modulate...after a couple of laps they settle down and feel great. Noisy as hell though! LOL |
