Waiiiiiittt... How are the seats supposed to fit? Isn't that bar really in the way? Or is that just the way the pic was taken?

The Recaro's fit in great and I'm 6-1. You have to remember there is a gap because all the trim is out of the car right now .

i think they've done an incredible job tbh..... can't wait to see it all wrapped up and interior back in!...

i think i would have made a DIP to mirror the shape in between the stock roll hoops if you get me, then had a mid cross bar to allow easy point to mount an in case go pro Etc.

The cross bar position does not obstruct my visibility at all and was chosen to meet SCCA racing regulations for strength . I will still use my old go pro 3m mount position on the center trim once it's reinstalled . It's a perfect angle no use changing .

Looking good, I made the hard decision to go welded roll bar, no going back but no regrets neither. I feel 10x safer on track running roll bar + 6 point + HANS. GL with build!

They are working on the strut tower reinforcements now , very complex , essentially a steel plate shell is being added to the entire towers and tied in to both the cage and a cross brace . No way in hell the rear coilover will break through . Pics soon .

Those rear coilovers are not going anywhere lol . Pics are with the KW's still in place but MCS setup will be in the same place . Just the tabs for the rear strut bar to go then off to powder coat !!

I've waited for someone to do this to a roadster forever. You give hope to all us soft top tracktards!

Do you think there's any safe way to fab and secure a harness bar between seat backs, while keeping the folding top in place? Without a roll hoop/half-cage.

A harness without a half cage is a bad idea safety wise . Got to go all in .

Everything is off to be powder coated , and in the meantime I am installing the MCS 2way suspension. She hopefully will be good to go for my Sept 5th track day at Roebling.

I went with 700 hyperco front and 450 hyperco for the rear coilover per James Clay's recs . So the equivalent of 700f/900 rear on the OEM suspension geometry .

Nice. This is what I will covert to as well when I swap to a coilover setup in rear...I have 700/850 springs currently. I went from stock suspension to MCS and car really feels transformed - my rear end was very very twitchy is stock form when driving on limit. I have been doing lots of a/x lately and little track unfortunately...but at local track NJMP I dropped almost 4 seconds after two events. Still was driving expecting car like I it knew it in stock form and kept saying..good god I can carry more speed. All this new found grip!!

kept psi as they came...sadly i haven't picked up a check valve or recharge tank for Nitrogen.

i run my car (a/x) at a really bad lot so i have found dialing out a lot of rebound is my best friend or else my car just skips over all the bumps and cracks. I need to get some more track time but I've just been running BW's reference settings for time being as i am still learning all my new found grip. Sadly i don't foresee me hitting up the track this season. Will be a project for 2015.
