Z4M roadster track conversion has begun !
Now that i have finally made my supercharger set up track reliable ,I have had the soft top removed and will be welding in a half cage / 6-point harnesses ,having a rear chassis cross brace installed and reinforcing the strut towers so that I can go with a true rear coilover . I am thinking of going with the MCS 2 way external reservoir set up . Shit just got real

Im really excited about being able to run the rear coilovers, that will be a game changer suspension wise. Also I can't wait to be actually held in place during a session, its so tiring to fight 1.2 lateral g's all day in a 3 point even in Recaro PP's. And most importantly I will have a much safer vehicle on track, I was already going to fast for a street setup. I'll be sure to get weights on everything for those that are curious and will give a full KW V3 vs MCS review. George |

Hey guys , for a full custom job things are going along pretty well , the main bar has been successfully bent and we are working out a good strategy for the front base plate . It's very uneven behind the driver seat on the roadster so there isn't a clear landing zone to weld to . I'll post pic with the main hoop in the car later , it hasn't been cut to length yet so it looks like Shaqs roll bar lol . It's been a measure twice cut once situation with input from SCCA officials to ensure its legal for competition use if I choose to finally go that route .

i feel like doing exactly the same, then cover the open space in the rear with a large sheet of carbon...
perfect! and now you can easily get at the tops of the suspension for easy adjustment !! this car will be in the 1280KG range after this I'm guessing!!! very very serious power to weight ratio!!! awesome stuff!
