It is in reach at my desk as I type this. One of my favorite BMW books, and I have a few!.

The only thing is that it was written in 2004, way before the introduction of the coupes or the M version. I think I'll hold off and see what the other members think of it.

I bought the book last year from a seller on eBay who had a number of them on hand.

Anyway, despite the fact that it pertains to the initial design of the Z4 and doesn't talk about the 2006 and later cars (the 3.0si, the new coupe or the M cars) it is still a great read for any Z4 owner. There's just tons of good stuff in this book with a great many color photos and diagrams. Just a quick flip through will demonstrate that it is very comprehensive and well put together.

Great book!

Got this about a year ago. It's a great book, very well done. Never get tired of looking through it, and have loaned it to several fiends who all enjoyed it as well, both for the car info, and the entire BMW design process so well described.
