Feel like we should know who the previous owner is?

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...z4-m-coupe-18/

That's not a common color combination. Says the seller bought it 3 years ago...I'm racking my brain but I think the owner previous to the transaction in 2015 was a regular here?

Can't help with the previous owner, but I can tell you that I thought that car was stolen at that price.

I thought so too, but it appears the guy who bought the car was the ORIGINAL owner.

Quite the story.

You're right! I missed that during the auction today. That was something I noticed when I was researching mine...a lot of owners regretted selling their Z4M and several owners who have more than one. Says a lot about the car.

The original owner coming forward with the extent of the accident damage and track history put the screws to that auction.

The seller was trying to pass it off as a bunper respray when i asked. Tires were almost corded and 0 preventive maintenance on the engine. 80k mile east coast car, winter driven. A lot of fluff from the seller but the car didn't seem that well cared for.

I didnt think it was that cheap.

I didnt think it was that cheap, and i just bought one, but i may have gotten lucky.
Did the buyer provide evidence that he was the original owner? How do we know?

The buyer provided receipts from the 2009 accident reported on CarFax.

That's right. I guess the 2009 accident didn't scare him off. That was a cheap M Coupe, even with all the warts and question marks.
