Will the M sports wheel(32307836820) fit on 06 E85 3.0i

Hello I'm looking to upgrade my steering wheel for my 2006 e85 3.0i z4
Some sites say this wheel will work some say no. If I order it's not refundable

It's the M wheel that has the black thread not the M colors.
M SPORTS STRNG WHL,AIRB.LEATH.,MULTIFUNC

Part Number: 32307836820
SCHWARZ

Thanks!

This guy is parting out his Z4MC, https://denver.craigslist.org/pts/6610500044.html. If his steering wheel is still available, it would save you some bucks over buying new.

Thanks- already ordered one. I'm in Canada and it still would up similar cost after you would factor in exchange and duty & shipping.

I purchased the same wheel and it just arrived ready for install. Just curious where you concerned about the airbag removal at all?

Very much so, I disconnected the battery and everything was very simple. I was surprised how easy everything came apart. Use a flat bladed screw driver to push the clips through the holes and be sure to keep the wheel strait.

I was dreading the install, due to the airbag. It all worked out...

Here is mine all done

I think I successfully switched it without coming anywhere close to the front of the wheel while the airbag was being removed. lol

I’m trying to order the OEM M wheel for my Z4M. It includes the M stitching of course. Part number seems to be 32307836820. Is there such thing as an M sport steering wheel for the Z4 or is it the same exact wheel as the Z4M wheel? I’d hate to order the wheel without the M stitching.

In the photo above it appears the wheel has black stitching. I thought they all had the multicolor stitching.

That’s actually exactly why I was asking; Real OEM shows the part number I provided above for the Z4M wheel but the picture shown shows black stitching, yet the same exact design of the M wheel. I’m a little confused about that. Thank you for the response chickdr.

Anyhow, wheels are no longer backordered so I went ahead and scored me a brand new one at $555. Hopefully it comes with the tricolor stitching.

Out of curiosity, what is wrong with your current steering wheel? Just wear and tear? I wonder if there are places who refurbish steering wheels.

Unfortunately it’s more than just typical wear and tear: it’s got a hole on the leather on the 12 o’clock Position that runs about 6-7 inches wide. The rest of the wheel is very worn out with other small holes in the leather. The plastic trims are fading and yellowing as well. My new wheel just shipped out today. Apparently they’re out of stock once again and backordered lol

RealOEM indicates that Z4s sold outside the US could be optioned with an M sport steering wheel and these came with the black stitching.

If you don't mind losing the multifunction buttons then you can grab one for $457. Not too shabby for a brand new wheel.
