Shops recommendation NorCal

I already have a shop for installing euro headers/cats when I get them in a month or so (bday gift for myself). I need a recommendation for two other shops.

1. Dyno: Anyone know a good one that keeps track of humidity, temperature and all that? Also that can save the files for me. I want to dyno the car before and after cats/headers/tune to post on here, and the more accurate the better.

2. Alignment/Corner Balancing: I called a shop around here with great reviews and they wanted 400 bucks for just the corner balance, seemed a bit much.

thanks.

For alignment have you tried Edge Motorwerks in Dublin? One of the best experiences and most knowledgeable staff I had when I took my E46 there. They took the time to ask me what I was looking for in terms of performance and what my driving styles were.

Bay Area? You can check out TC Design or Auto Innovations in Milpitas for corner-balancing and alignment. As for dyno, I can only recommend a DynaPack (hooks directly to your hubs/axles), not a roller dyno like DynoJet or a Mustang dyno.

Are you looking for roller dynos only? Or anything as long as it's before-and-after comparison (as that's all that really matters)?
The dyno place I go to and trust (ever since I was still tuning my MR2 turbo) is Aggressive Performance in Santa Clara. It's primarily an MR2 shop, but the owner is my personal friend and for sure will take care of you. I believe he hiked up the rates since last time I held a dyno day there for a few cool cats in the bay area, but no harm in contacting him and getting a quote

Thanks mfan I'll give him a ring. Dynapack sounds better, but I think a good operator that is consistent and doesn't charge an arm and a leg is probably where i'll end up.

Yeah I had a great time during that dyno day that mfanatic set up. The guy was super nice and easy to work with that was running the dyno.

hehe, he's definitely a consistent operator. I've done a total of 8 separate dyno session with Su @ Aggressive Performance. He's very experienced with tuning piggyback systems and full-on standalones. I'm thinking about paying for his services if I ever bite the bullet on a turbo build for the Z4M
