Sell off alert

Canada is not a big country by population, 38 million of us.
I can't believe the number of E85 and E86 Ms for sale in Canada today on Autotrader.
10 E86 Ms and 20 E85 Ms.

WTF is happening?

Everyone wanting to capitalize on current market demand and prices? Buy low sell high? Especially with a bit of a financial downturn coming.

Bought my M for $30k, put 30k kms on it and a dealer is selling one for $55k with just a bit more mileage and one model year later. Now I don't think I'll get that in a private sale but who wouldn't be tempted by that from a pure financial sense?

Yup, its unbelievable the amount low mileage nice E39 M5, E60/3 M5/6, E46 M3, Z3s & E85 Z4s being sold these days, people who have had the car a while but don't use much selling for more than they probably paid long ago. Plus niche dealers trying to grab any cool car and flip.

I overpaid a little for my Z4MR 6spd two months ago, but I am ok with it, original owner excellent condition.

My E34 540i 6spd in great condition is north of $15k about now, and my E60 M5 6spd is above $25k, doesn't matter to me as zero interest in selling.

Every owner is trying to cash in as others have said. The one for sale at $99800 is priced a little high lol, even at 17000 kms. Its been there a while.

Nice collection.

No joke though if I had the money I'd be buying and holding every manual pre-turbo BMW I could. Love them all.
