Bulb Out Warning Dash Light Won't Go Off

My bulb out warning dash light came on about a year ago due to my xenon ballast failing and a brake light going out. I have fixed both of them and the dash light is still on. No codes are showing up in my code reader. (I thought all dash lights were tied to codes.) Can this be fixed with iCarly?

Thanks for any advice on this!

Did you use inpa or ista to read the codes? If not, do that first.

Every time my bulb out light came on, I had a bulb out somewhere. Could be a turn signal...

Check your halo bulb around the headlight. It is easy to miss. Mine went out and took me a month to figure it out. You may need to do it in the dark to really see if it is working.

Both halos are working as I replaced those myself about a year ago.

Will this tell me which bulb is causing the dash light?

Have you replaced any with LEDs?

I did this to my halos and had to code out the bulb check.

The dash warning light is indicating that one of your bulbs is going to fail…. Warning lamp doesn't need a "failure" to actuate…..

I had a program that would indicate approximately which circuit…but not which light exactly. In sure that INPA and ISTAD are capable of doing the same.

The warning light may still be on because the car's computer system needs to be reset to clear the warning. Try disconnecting this battery for a few minutes to see if that helps reset the system. If that doesn't work, there may be a separate issue causing the light to stay on. If it is something wrong with the light bulb, I suggest getting another one (the prices are reasonable here www.greasemonkeydirect.com/pages/bulbs). I hope that helps!
