I tried searching, but came up empty. Where can I get JUST the 3rd brake light in clear? Thanks!

Tischer BMW
www.getbmwparts.com You want part number 63256930246 $62.50 and seriously this is the best online parts distributor out there, Ive used them a lot and will only buy from them, Great bunch of guys and great service Even if it were more expensive (it never has been, the price are usually the cheapest) Id still buy from them based on previous transactions.

Z Fore,
I'm in need of a RED 3rd brake light. (mine's cracked) Let me know if you want to sell me your RED 3rd brake light to offset the cost of your new CLEAR one.

Yep. That light was never changed during the face-lift.

I answered my own question Open the trunk and you will see 3 holes... The holes allow access to the nuts and springs holding the light in place. You will need an 8mm deep socket to remove the nuts. Remove the 3 nuts and springs, then disconnect the light. Installation is the opposite of removal. It is much easier if you remove the trunk handle and trunk release handle. It took 10 minutes! |
