Trade: my Z4M roadster for your 3.0si manual coupe

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
It's a crazy idea, but maybe someone will be interested.

I have a 2006 Z4M roadster. 73k miles. Clean title. Black on red leather. Canadian car from the beginning. I am the third owner (got it last December). Never winter driven (and it shows from underneath).

Have all the maintenance documents from the second owner (he had it for around 7 years). Maintenance is up to date. Just got fresh tires. Original brake rotors, so may need attention in next 20k/30k miles. Valve adjustment/head gasket done. Rod bearings not done yet AFAIK. Interior 9/10, exterior 8/10.

All stock except matching brown wood trim (had black CF trim), tint, OEM M front strut brace and upgraded blueBus bluetooth device.

Took it out of storage. Did all the maintenance. Drives like a champ. Even too fast for me

Thing is, I had 3.0si and Z4M coupes before. Never a roadster. And after driving this car, I see that I still prefer coupe body style and roadster is not my "style". And I cannot afford an M coupe. So 3.0si coupe with manual would be a nice solution for me.

Will email photos to anyone interested.

Cheers!

What if you just find a hardtop? Si is good but M is completely different on many different levels. You already know that actually

Let's just say I liked 3.0si N52 engine not less than I do S54

3.0si was a really relaxed cruiser vs M which is always crazy

Also, seems my previous S54 engine in Z4MC was pretty weak, so it wasn't much faster than N52. Now this car, with engine working perfectly, is too fast for me

And I have a preference for body style.

So I mean, just throwing it out here. I will happily enjoy my roadster if nobody trades me

Right. But:

0) I am addicted to Z4, my last Z4 3.0si coupe was written off in an accident by a nice lady running a red light 2.5 years ago. And I intended to keep this 3.0si coupe forever. I saved for a couple of years to be able to buy a Z4 again, because insurance didn't pay even close to the real value of my car.

1) I can only store 1 car in a garage, so a trade seems like a natural option

2) I have to have at least one Z4 in my garage. So selling and buying is not an option. Buying and selling? Could be done, but for a right price

?? Doesn't change anything. Not sure how selling Z4M and buying a Z4 Coupe after does not meet any of the above criteria.

Just because I cannot be bothered to put up a real "for sale" ad

If anyone is interested in this color combo on a canadian car with that particular mileage, they will contact me directly

If not, I will keep enjoying it. Drives better than my previous Z4MC did
