Anyone try ISC Coilovers?
I picked up a set of ISC N1 Race coilovers for my E85 2.5i from Bimmerworld. Got them last week and started installing them yesterday, but the bottom of the front shock body is significantly larger OD than the OEM shocks. (2.1" OD vs 1.9" OD) I have the knuckle opened enough to where the OEM shock slid right out, but these won't go in even with the weight of the car resting on it.
I'm following up with Bimmerworld on the fitment, but wanted to see if anyone else had experience with them. I could always try expanding the knuckle, but really don't want to risk breaking the knuckle or it not clamping on the shock body because its out of round. |

Well, confirmed with Bimmerworld that these were the right parts and they had verified the fitment. I had to open the knuckle up farther than I would with OEM shocks, but after that they slipped right in and seem to fit fine. No noticeable issues with the knuckle.
Hopefully I can get the car corner balanced and a track alignment soon. |
