NorCal meet...ExhaustFest...part 2?

Putting the feeler out there for a big nor cal meet...seems to have been a while since we've all gotten together, plus I feel like there have been a few new members and a few changes to exhaust systems so maybe we can do another ExhaustFest like last year.

Who's down? I'm thinking August 10th or 17th? That should give enough time for people to set a few hours aside to meet up.

I am IN. The 10th would probably work better for me! BBQ sounds like a great idea. I will be more than happy to contribute

BTW, anyone is planning on going to Dyno with the Golden Gate CCA? It is on Saturday 27 July 2013, 09:30am - 05:00pm at Dietsch Werks521 Charcot Avenue, #251 San Jose. I am not sure what setup they have but it is not too bad for $85 (3 pulls).

They have an AutoDyn SuperFlow AWD dyno, but will only use the rear-two rollers for RWD cars. Their raw numbers read extremely low, but their dynojet-correction is pretty much on par. I just did a dyno there with Vonleigh (Beta on the forums).

I'm down for a meetup in August. Will be done with hectic summer session class by then and would definitely need to celebrate on behalf of that

I might be able to do it if I plant a seed with the family ahead of time.

Sweet, I'm thinking another east bay location since it's central cause we got people coming from Sac, south bay, north bay, and the peninsula, plus a couple from the east bay like last time. Not too familiar with East Bay though, anyone have a good idea for a park where we could BBQ? I figure if we BBQ at a park we probably can't do another Exhaust Fest type video since that requires an open parking spot in a mostly private area so we don't attract cops/other unwanted people, but I'm down to do a BBQ over another Exhaust get together.

I believe in you! Last year I managed to stop by and it was me and my GF's 12 year anniversary. I just brought her along!

As fun as a BBQ sounds, it may be too much work involved? I think it might be easier to just hit up a restaurant like last time @ Chevy's or something. But this time, let's try a different place? I'm down to try new foods

I think I'm on the same page--I'd love to do a BBQ but the logistics involved may be a bit much.

Either date works for us, so whatever the most folks find convenient works for us!

Gernard, thanks for spearheading this!

I won't drive 2 hours to eat at a Chevy's. I appreciate food, just like I appreciate cars.

Yeah, marriage isn't important to us. Neither of us are going anywhere.

If the child DOES come early, bring him too! Never too early to get 'em into the scene

Hence why I suggested we go elsewhere

Sounds fun. Havent met anyone from the forum yet. I live in the East Bay. If you are looking for restaurants with large parking lots or park/BBQ spots, I can suggest several locations.

You know, I was thinking about that last night, BBQ and a meet might be a bit much, but if people are willing to help make it happen, then let's do it. We're all smart (ok maybe a few of us are smart) and successful adults, so hopefully we can put our minds together and make both happen.

I'm honestly down for either one.

E8SEHHX, let us know what locations you suggest for either and we can start narrowing it down.
