I pickup my refinish bumper over the weekend. Bought it from board memeber gferil. He hooked me up with his friend who did an outstanding job. I will install the bumper next month. Ordered matted black grill from Turner and working with Eric with Tekarbon for the Angel Eyes. Figure must as well do the AE mod since the bumper is out.

I will update this threade when other mods are in.

I want to thank gferil for the hook up.

Here are some pics.

Looks good. Just had mine resprayed last week. Had them spray my rear reflectors too so I can just pop them in and not worry if I have to put back to "stock". Same with front. Wish the painted circles were filled in but I'm a wuss. Wow, we are both doing the bumper and Tekarbon at the same time!

I am not planning on selling the ///M. Doing a Euro conversion to my coupe. Already installed Euro headers and cat section. I will drop my headlights off to Tekarbon and pick up a few days later. I am not going to paint my headlight housing. The chrome/silver blends better than the matted black.

Are you getting the LED Angel Eyes? Please post some pics when you get your lights back.

I'll send you pics of my old bumper if you think it is worth fixing.

Glad it turned out the way you wanted Rob! The pictures don't do it justice, I saw the bumper before Rob picked it up and the thing is super clean, the reflector and screw hole deletes are super clean as well! Can't wait to see the finished product with the updated headlights!

Getting LED angel eyes as we speak. Blacked out housings and a medium smoke signal strip. I think the black housings should pop on the darker grey. VAC headers are my next mod I guess. Early august would be a good date.

I like to compare the looks after we completed our AE upgrade. I wanted to keep it more OEM look.

I can't thank you enough for the hook up. Hopefully, I have the funds to do the same for rear and aero skirt in the summer.

The person grind the old reflector down and fill it. I am doing the rear bumper in a few months. I am saving the lighted reflector just in case. Body guy said he can use a mesh or other options to fill the hold.

I installed my bumper last week. Just haven't got time to take pics. Doing some detailing this week and hope to get some pictures up tomorrow.

Does the front bumper have to come off in order to take out the headlights?

Yes. There are 4 torx screws to remove. It is not difficult to remove.

I just got a new front bumper end of last year as well and had the body shop fill my front reflectors too. Unfortunately however, they put the clear bra on way too early (before the paint could cure properly), and so there are spots around the filled reflector area where the paint bubbled out
Sigh...oh well. At least I've got clear bra and don't need to worry about the front bumper at all anymore hah.

Man, I want to get angel eyes too...maybe next time I go to SoCal or something. Whenever that'll be...

Thanks for the complement guys. I only did the AE with no other options. My car is TiAG and thought it looks good with factory color. Another thought is I want to keep it as much OEM as possible. I had trouble connecting the lights and wasn't sure I was tapping into the correct wire at the DME. Mousitch helped me confirm I was tapping the correct wire. Once I got it going, I was like in heaven :-)
