Convertible hydraulic pump question

Having trouble with roof repair. I have questions about the pump. I have the pump in a vertical position in a vice. I took off the reservoir container looked at the openings. All looked good to me. Took off the motor and the made sure the rotating mechanism on the pump side rotated both ways. It did. Put it back together and got the same result as before. Strong stream out of 12/14 nothing from 11/13. Change the leads 12/14 sputters, nothing from 11/13. Can't find info on correct way to test pump. Not familiar with the internals of a pump, thinking of using air gun to blow out ports possibly there is a blockage. Unless there is a more acceptable method. Suggestions are welcome. Maybe its at the point of getting a new pump if they are around.

Are you reversing the electrical leads to reverse the fluid flow?

Find it difficult to know what you are doing/trying to accomplish with your description.

Thanks for replying. Yes, I reversed the leads.
Connected one way, Strong stream out of 12/14 nothing from 11/13.
Change the leads, 12/14 sputters, nothing from 11/13.
No matter how the leads are connected, nothing happens with the 11/13 port. Neither fluid pumping out, or suction. I can't find any info on how these pumps work. Suggestions are welcome.
